Mount Tai, known locally as Dong Yue, ranks number one among the five most important mountains in China. It is also described as one of the “The Five Great Mountains” and “First Mountain of the World” for its majesty and historical and spiritual significance.

Leave hotel in the morning to Qufu (~2.5 hours by car) to explore the famous Confucius Mansion, Confucius Temple and Cemetery

Confucius Mansion, current structure dating back to 1377, is where Confucius descendants worked and lived and remains the best preserved Ming-era residential complex of its size.
Confucius Cemetery is the largest family cemetery in the world for Confucius and his family.
Leave Qufu to Taian, hotel check-in.

Wake up in the morning and get ready to climb Mount Tai. Take local shuttle from Tianwaicun to Zhongtianmeng, to begin your journey up. You will see the famous Cloud Bridge and The Guest Greeting Pine. When you arrive “Nantianmen”, enjoy the tour of “The Celestial Street”, “The Rock Carvings”, “Wordless Table”, “Qing Emperor Palace”, and “Peak of the Heavenly Emperor”. After the tour, take the aerial cable car to leave Mount Tai.
